Born out of necessity & love, the idea of Solu was first conceived when our founder set out to help his mum improve her health.

Researching and engaging in insightful conversation with hundreds of women, our founder – Gerald Tony – realized Solu isn’t something only his mum needed, but something every woman who aspires to live a healthy & happy life needs.
Fueled by passion & driven by purpose, we set out to assemble a team of superheroes. We looked for motivated individuals willing to take a chance & bet on a dream they believed in!
Our mission was simple:
To empower women lead healthier lives.
This was one of the very first designs and branding of our logo.
The goal was to keep it as simple and clean as possible.
We pitched our business & began spreading our message. And although our message resonated with our customers, When it came to investors – we were met with rejection. A LOT of rejection.
However, every rejection showed us where there was room for improvement in the business idea.
Rejection is never easy but we took it like champs.
Everytime we received a “NO” we asked for feedback, then used that feedback to improve our business further.
We repeated this process over and over again.
We launched our waitlist and invited some of our first customers to get their thoughts & feedback on Solu.
Our customers are at forefront of our business, so we always make sure er involve them in the process!

We were invited to pitch our startup – Solu to the Dubai government as part of their digital transformation.
This was monumental for all of us! All the hard work & sleepless nights seemed to start paying off.
But we also knew there was more work to be done if we were to impress the high dignitaries of the Dubai government.
The date to pitch Solu to the Dubai Government was set, and it was fast approaching. So we did everything we could to prepare ourselves for the task ahead.
Our goal was simple:
To impress everybody present.
The day finally came, and we impressed everyone present with our pitch!
Solu’s message is simple:
We exist to empower women lives healthier, happier lives.
Our vision at Solu is to become the leading Health & Wellness platform for women across the Middle East, and the world.
Our journey is far from over.
In fact, it’s only just beginning.
